Ronaldinho to star in a PAKISTANI movie called 'Maidaan'

Two-times winner of 'PLAYER OF THE YEAR' in FIFA, Ronaldinho, has been in Pakistan for a while, and we Pakistanis are so excited to have him here!

Ronaldinho is all set to star in a Pakistani movie 'Maidaan', under the banner of Shuffler Films by Gohar Rasheed and Waqas Rizvi.

It is being directed by Jack Mulder, it has been claimed. 

About a poverty-stricken street child, the movie will cater to all football lovers, and show how in their limited resources they try to participate in the 'Street Child World Cup' held in Brazil in 2014.

The movie aims to show that stars can rise from slums and that nothing is impossible if you have the grit and will to work for it.

The movie also stars Nauman Ejaz, Ghana Ali and Gohar Rasheed.

Ronaldinho and his friends will be playing the protagonists in the movie, and appear in the final sequence, according to reports.
