Child Protection Bureau rescues 11-year old from influential politician

LAHORE (Staff Report) – Child Protection Bureau has rescued a 11-year child, Naheed, from the house of a former MNA.

Naheed was beaten vigorously by the wife of an ex-MNA of PML-Q, Ahsan Ali Bhatti and terming the treatment unbearable, Naheed had to escape with the help of people who lived within the vicinity of the neighbourhood, The Nation reported.

According to initial reports, the Child Protection Bureau proceeded to return the girl to her family in Gujranwala through bus transport. Child Protection Bureau considers such cases as frequent where it has faced similar situations and seeks a strong action against the perpetrators of such vicious acts.

Ahsan Ali Bhatti, ex-MNA (PML-Q), was elected from NA 103.
