LAHORE (Web Desk) – In a strive to give users more freedom, Twitter has changed the way it counts characters in Tweets as Images and other media will no longer count towards the 140 character limit.
Moreover, when a user replies to a tweet, the user name of the person it’s sent to will no longer be a part of the limit although anyone else tagged in it will still count.
Twitter had already announced the complete removal of limits from direct messages.
