LAHORE (Web Desk) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Chief Minister Punjab Shehbaz Sharif discussed the over all political situation of the country including upcoming senate elections and appointment new governor in Punjab province.
Nawaz Sharif appreciated the steps taken by Punjab government for the quickest eradication of militancy. The establishment of Counter-Terrorism Force is the step other provinces should also follow, he said.
Shehbaz Sharif briefed the premier about the progress of ongoing development projects in Punjab.
The appointment of new governor in Punjab was discussed in the meeting but no decision was made anyhow, reported local media.
