DUBAI – Islamabad United faced a defeat at the hands of Peshawar Zalmi by 4 wickets in the 21st encounter of Pakistan Super League on Friday.
Peshawar Zalmi won the toss and elected to bowl first in the crucial match of the ongoing fourth edition of Pakistan Super League at the Dubai Cricket Stadium. Islamabad set a target of 177 runs against Peshawar Zalmi.
Cameron Delport scored 71 runs off 55 balls while Philip Salt managed to score 28 for Islamabad. On the other hand, Wahab Riaz, Ibtisam Sheikh and Hasan Ali took two wickets each.
Peshawar Zalmi chased the target with 4 wickets in hand.
Zalmi topped the chart with a decisive victory against Multan Sultans while Islamabad United is also putting up a fine show in subsequent clashes.
