ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif ordered Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to identify the culprits behind recent petroleum crisis that halted the country for a week.
PM instructed investigating authority to question the officers of petroleum ministry and Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) also. Earlier an initial inquiry was conducted by ministry of water and power.
He announced to register the criminal charges against those found responsible.
Prime minister cut short the instructions given to former DG FIA Tariq Khosa to probe the same matter. Previously he was ordered to continue an in depth inquiry on the basis of initial inquiry report by minister of water and power.
