Actress Nazish Jahangir’s bail canceled amid fraud allegations

Actress Nazish Jahangirs Bail Canceled Amid Fraud Allegations

Rising actor Azaan Aswad Haroon has accused actress Nazish Jahangir of extortion and fraud, leading to serious legal action against the actress. Haroon alleges that Jahangir, whom he met while working on a telefilm, exploited their friendship under the pretense of helping him enter the showbiz industry, only to deceive him out of large sums of money.

According to Haroon, Jahangir demanded Rs 15 lakh, expensive gifts, and a Honda car worth Rs 55 lakh, in addition to asking for air tickets to various destinations, including Dubai, London, Lahore, and Karachi.

“Nazish Jahangir used to ask me for air tickets—sometimes to Dubai, sometimes to London—and I kept giving her everything, trusting her blindly,” Haroon said, explaining how he fell victim to the alleged scheme.

After realizing the deception, Haroon demanded the return of his money and gifts. However, things took a dark turn when Jahangir allegedly had him taken hostage at a farmhouse, where he was subjected to torture by armed men. Haroon was eventually rescued by his managers and driver, after which he filed a fraud case at the Defense C police station, mentioning the money and vehicle in the complaint.

“She called me to a farmhouse, where several armed men took me hostage and tortured me. I was rescued by my team, and I immediately registered a fraud case,” Haroon recounted.

In light of these allegations, the Lahore Sessions Court recently canceled Jahangir’s bail after she failed to appear in court. Despite the mounting legal pressure, the actress has yet to publicly respond to the accusations.
