DG Rangers pays first visit to Lyari after Baba Ladla s elimination

KARACHI – Director General (DG) Sindh Rangers Major General Muhammad Saeed on Friday paid first visit to various areas of Lyari, after the killing of gangster Noor Muhammad, alias Baba Ladla.

The spokesman for the paramilitary said, DG Rangers visited Gabol Chowk, Cheel Chowk, Nawa Lane and Miran Naka area of Lyari.

The sector commander briefed DG Rangers about the situation and actions of the Rangers in the area particularly in the aftermath of operations launched by the law enforcement agencies.

Speaking on the occasion, Major General Muhammad Saeed said no one would be allowed to disrupt the law and order situation in Lyari, adding that miscreant elements and their abettors would be dealt with iron hands.

The official urged locals and educationist to play their part for maintaining peace in the area by keeping rangers aware of any suspicious activity.

It may be noted that Rangers claimed on Thursday to have killed Baba Ladla along with his two accomplices.

The operation conducted by Pakistan Rangers took place near Lyari’s neighbourhood and two of Baba Ladla’s close associates Sikandar alias Sikko and Mohammad Yaseen alias Mama were also killed.
