LAHORE – The blast of an extravaganza, glamour, and becoming a platform to raising awareness of the issues women face in the society, the eleventh edition of PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week was a hit from start to finish.

Introducing the Spring/ Summer 2018 collection, the shows reflected prêt a porter luxury retail pieces in the world of contemporary/ modern fashion.

The first day of collections comprised new talented names in the fashion industry as well as the old charisma of those having their names engraved in fashion. The list included names Hussain Rehar, Arjumand Bano, Hira Ali (with her ‘Woman Is Future’ collection), and the ever magnetic Sania Maskatiya.

Day two showcased fashion like never before. Nida Azwer, Saira Shakira, Image, Saira Rizwan, Shirin Hassan, came up with their celebrity showstoppers and elegant fusion of traditional and modern design to the ramp. Not to mention, Sunsilk ‘Passion Walk’ featuring model Alyzeh Gabol had us mesmerized with charm and poise.

And just as the start of the Fashion Week was a sight to fashion addicted sights, day three brought our passion for fashion to a new level of appreciation, leaving us waiting eagerly for the next edition. Rougue, Zonia Anwaar, Rang Rasiya, Fahad Hussain, HSY, all brought monochrome metallics to pastel and coral hues embellished with floral designs on the ramp for a perfect ending to the three-day-long tribute to the fashionista in us.
