ISLAMABAD – Jamiat Ulema Islam (F) chief Fazlur Rehman underwent gallbladder surgery on Thursday in a Lahore hospital.
Fazal, who was hospitalized after his health deteriorated owing to pain in gallbladder, is stable now, the doctors said.
Earlier, the JUI-F chief had been admitted to the hospital in Lahore in November owing to pancreatic pain. Doctors had suggested endoscopy and gastroscopy of the patient.
