ISLAMABAD – On Tuesday Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif reiterated that Operation Radd-ul-Fassad will continue until terrorism was eliminated from the country.
In a message, the prime minister condoled the martyrdom of Captain Junaid and Sipahi Amjad who lost his life while fighting terrorists in district Swabi today.
The PM lauded the gallantry showed by the armed forces personnel during a fight with terrorists who are attempting to challenge the writ of the state.
Mian Nawaz Sharif said that armed forces were fighting the menace of terrorism to protect the country.
He said, “We cannot and will not allow our enemies to promote their nefarious designs.”
The countrywide military operation – ‘Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad’, or ‘Elimination of evils’ – had been launched days after a series of deadly militant attacks killed more than 115 people across Pakistan including civilians, policemen and soldiers, in just over a week.
