LAHORE – Huma Mobin and Arsalan Sever, a delightful couple that married seven months ago, had to spend their honeymoon without each other this year, Sever’s passport came back from the Greek Embassy with a big ‘Rejected’ stamp. However, Huma, a creative manager at an ad agency, managed to make the best out of a bad situation while accompanied by in-laws on the honeymoon trip with a series of hilarious snaps, in which her absent husband and her mock pout is the main feature.
“I cried the first night on my mother-in-law’s shoulder, but she told me to make the best of it,” Huma told Buzzfeed.
And then she decided to actually have fun with her trip and the results were absolutely hilarious:
She told Buzzfeed how she came up with the idea of making the album. “After our engagement, he left for Budapest and sent me this picture (below),” she explained. All the pictures in Mobin’s hilarious honeymoon album play on the same theme of absence.
Mobin’s husband, Arslan Sever is an architect with his own firm. The couple dated for two years before getting married.
