Now that’s another turn in the politics of Pakistan as this seat from Lodhran city belonged to senior member of PTI Jahangir Tareen, but he got disqualified by the judiciary and re-elections took place. This time around Jahangir Tareen decided to put his son Ali Khan Tareen forward for this seat, but he was defeated by a representative of PML-N Peer Iqbal Shah.

People and some analysts have concluded that the major reason of disqualification of Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was because of his own mistakes of challenging the army generals. This incident not only affected the future of Sharif family, but it was also a threat to the fragile democratic system of Pakistan.
