Pakistan announces hockey team for World Cup 2018

LAHORE – Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) on Wednesday announced the 18-member team for the Hockey World Cup 2018, starting from November 28, 2018, in Bhubaneswar, India.

Muhammad Rizwan Senior will be the captain of the team with Ammad Shakeel Butt has named as his deputy, says a press release issued by PHF today.

Hassan Sardar will act as Manager and Tauqeer Dar would be the Head Coach of the team while Rehan Butt and Danish Kaleem would be the two coaches. Nadeem Lodhi would act as Video Analyst and Waqas Mehmood as the team physiotherapist.

Imran Butt (goalkeeper), Mazhar Abbas (goalkeeper), M.Irfan Sr, Aleem Bilal, Mubashar Ali, M.Tauseeq Arshad, Tasawwar Abbas, Rashid Mahmood, Ajaz Ahmed, Ammad Shakeel Butt (V.Captain), M.Irfan Jr, M.Rizwan Sr (c), Ali Shan, Faisal Qadir, Abubakr Mahmood, Umar Bhutta, M.Atiq Arshad and Mohammad Zubair.
