ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif held a farewell meeting with the outgoing Director General Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Lt Gen Rizwan Akhtar on Thursday.
During the meeting, the PM lauded the services rendered by Lt Gen Rizwan Akhtar during his tenure as DG ISI and wished him the best for his future.
On Sunday, Pakistan Army announced that Lt Gen Naveed Mukhtar would be replacing Lt Gen Rizwan Akhtar as the new DG ISI.
