QUETTA: Four security officials were injured when a bomb blast hit a vehicle of security forces on Monday in Splingi area of Mastung.
According to security sources, the bomb was planted along a road to target a vehicle, which was partially damaged.
After the attack, the area has been cordoned off by forces to arrest the accused persons involved in the blast.
On May 12, at least 27 people were killed and over 30 others including Senate’s Deputy Chairman Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haidri were injured in a suicide blast in Mustung, some 90 kilometers from the provincial capital.
On Sunday, rallies and gatherings were held by the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl in various cities of Balochistan to protest the Mastung blast.
