Opposition, government agree to form parliamentary committee over TORs

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – The government and the opposition on Wednesday agreed to form a parliamentary committee to finalise Terms of References (ToRs).

According to media details, the committee will comprise six members from government and six from the opposition.

Talking to the media, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rashid said that the committee will be given 2-week time to finalise the TORs.

The Minister told that the two sides would nominate their members from the National Assembly and the Senate.

He said the approval to form the committee will be sought from the House on Thursday.

The Minister told that the Committee would consist of six members, each from the government and the Opposition. The two sides would nominate their members from the National Assembly and the Senate.
