DERA ISMAIL KHAN – In an unusual way of celebrating Eid, airplanes from the member of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Ali Amin Khan Gandapur will be showering Eid gifts from above for the children of his constituency in Dera Ismail Khan.
The controversial decision was announced on his official Facebook page on Tuesday.
The politician was severely criticised for ‘showing off’ in a tasteless manner. However, clarifying his stance, Gandapur contended that it was not possible for him to reach out to every child in person, therefore, he decided to “do something that children of his constituency remember and cherish forever.”
He maintained that the money spent on Eid gifts will be from his own pocket.
