Pakistan suffer defeat in Women s World Cup warm-up match

LONDON – Australia beat Pakistan by eight wickets in a warm-up match for the upcoming Women’s World Cup 2017 in England.

Sent into bat first, Pakistan lost all their wickets for 156 runs in 46.4 overs. Nahida Khan was Pakistan’s highest scorer with 51 runs, while Bismah Maroof made 39 and Ayesha Zafar 21.

In reply, Beth Mooney was the best performer with 63 runs on the board, which helped Australia cruise to victory.
