LAHORE – Renowned journalistic duo Rauf Klasra and Amir Mateen won’t be continuing their television show ‘Aap Kay Muqabil’ on Aap News, it emerged on Monday.
Klasra, who is known as a bitter critic of the ruling regime and has made a name for himself for exposing dozens of scandals, tweeted that the TV channel management informed that the ‘show has been closed down with immediate effect’.

Thank you dear viewers for your trust and immense response, stated Klasra without revealing any reason for the closure of the show.
Amir Mateen and Rauf Klasra had joined Aap News in May this year after bidding farewell to 92 News.

Though the official version of Aap News and the journalistic video regarding the reason for show closure is awaited, Mateen had claimed a few days back that Omar Ayub Khan, the Minister for Power, had threatened him with his job.
