JAMSHORO – A disturbing case of alleged gang rape has surfaced in Kotri, where a 22-year-old woman has accused her husband and two brothers-in-law of sexual assault. According to the police, the incident represents a significant development as efforts are underway to bring the suspects to justice.
The Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) revealed that the woman had entered into a love marriage some time ago, but tensions soon emerged between her and her husband. The victim filed an FIR through the court approximately a month and a half ago, naming her husband and his two brothers as the perpetrators.
In response, the police have formed three teams to track down and arrest the accused individuals. Additionally, a medical examination of the victim has been arranged to support the investigation.
This case highlights the ongoing concern of sexual violence in the region and the urgent need for stronger measures to protect survivors and bring justice to the accused. Authorities have assured the public that all efforts are being made to apprehend the suspects promptly.
