RAWALPINDI (Web Desk) – The funeral prayers for Lt Col Faisal Malik and Sepoy Zohaib were performed here at Army graveyard, Race Course Ground, local media reported on Tuesday.
The two soldiers embraced martyrdom while fighting against the terrorists in Shawal area on Monday, said a press release of Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR). Six terrorists were also killed in the clash, it added.
Chief of General Staff, Lt General Zubair Mehmood Hayat and Corps Commander Rawalpindi were among other high-ranking army officials who attended the funeral prayers.
Both the martyred soldiers will be laid to rest in their ancestral towns with all the military honours.
