WASHINGTON (News Desk) – US Secretary of State John Kerry is set to visit India and Bangladesh next week, the State Department Spokesman said on Wednesday.
According to the statement, Kerry will reach Dhaka on August 29 and hold quick meetings with Bangladeshi officials. Several international issues, security and human rights are expected to be the main focus of the meetings.
Later on the same day, the US Secretary of State will fly to New Delhi where he will participate in regular US-India Strategic and Commercial Dialogue along with other top officials.
He will also hold meetings with Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and Indian Commerce and Industry Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
John Kerry will conclude India visit on August 31.
