ISLAMABAD – The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has recommended slashing the prices of petroleum products and has forwarded a summary in this regard to the petroleum division.
In its summary, OGRA has recommended a decrease of Rs0.77 per litre in the price of petrol whereas, for diesel, the regulatory authority has recommended a decrease of Rs2.30 per litre.
Moreover, OGRA has recommended decreasing the price of light diesel oil by Rs0.26 per litre while a reduction of Rs2.94 per litre in the price of kerosene oil has been suggested.
If approved, the new prices would take effect from July 1.
