LAHORE (Staff Report) – Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the daughter of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, on Wednesday turned 42 years old.
Her well wishers took it to micro-blogging website Twitter to mark the celebrations using #HBDMaryamNawaz.
Apart from being active in politics since 2011, She is heading the Sharif Trust’s different projects which include several schools and a hospital.
She is married to Captain (retired) Muhammad Safdar, who is currently elected as MNA on PML-N ticket, and a mother to three children.
In her educational career, Maryam first started medical school but later graduated in from Punjab University in English Literature. Currently she is pursuing her PhD degree in Political Science and is doing a thesis on “post-9/11 radicalisation in Pakistan” AT Cambridge University.
