Controlled fire reignites at building in Karachi

KARACHI – A fire that broke out early Saturday at a building tucked on I.I. Chundrigar road in Karachi, reignited hours after the fire department controlled it.

A snorkel, five fire trucks, and a water bowser tried to bring the fire under control for three hours that break out on the fifteenth and sixteenth floor of a famous Trade Tower. The rescue sources claimed that the fire was under control.

However, the blaze reignited at 16th floor stirring panic among the traders and residents around.

Details reveal that the blaze erupted initially between 5.30 AM and 6.00 AM after which firetrucks promptly reached the site within ten minutes.

Two guards who were trapped on the affected floors were safely evacuated from the building and no casualties were reported.
