SAHIWAL (Staff Report) – Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif inaugurated second phase of 1320 MW coal power project in Sahiwal on Friday.
The project will be completed by December 25, 2017 and 1320 MW electricity will be added to national grid.
Minister of State Abid Sher Ali, Chinese and other senior officials were also present on the occasion.
Addressing the inaugural ceremony of the project the Chief Minister said Chinese investment in Pakistan’s energy sector is an example of strong friendship between the two countries.
He said various energy projects of wind, hydro, solar and coal power are being installed to generate maximum electricity.
