LAHORE – Ali Zafar and Meesha Shafi have been at loggerheads since a year.
Ali Zafar recently announced on social media that the case he had been fighting against Meesha for accusing him of sexual misconduct has been dismissed.
The latest is that Ali broke down during a live interview.
While speaking to the host Shahzad Iqbal, of Geo’s show ‘Naya Pakistan’, Ali started crying claiming that a social media campaign against him is sabotaging his career.
With a breaking voice, he justified his way of dealing with the ordeal of the two singers yet denied sexually harassing Meesha at any point in time.
He was teary when talking about how much this case has affected his family.
Ali had earlier claimed that Meesha has done this for personal gains.
He also claims to have received a text from Meesha after the jamming session where she said she was harassed.
He said that if she was harassed then why did she sent a message which said: “Had a great time jamming and performing. Grateful for the kind word Ali has to say on stage.”
“We have both known each other for a long time. My kids have played with yours. I still urge you to block out all voices and just isolate yourself and connect to God and end this. If you take one step forward I will take ten steps forward.”
Ali seems to be pleading Meesha to take back the allegation.
