LAHORE – Pennywise the murderous clown is back and scarier than ever, looking for revenge on the grown-up members of the Losers Club in IT: Chapter Two, Warner Brothers’ follow-up to its 2017’s blockbuster horror film, IT.
The trailer sees Jessica Chastain as a now-adult Beverly, visiting her old home in Derry. There, she meets its new owner — or who she thinks is its new owner.
As far as scares go, this one is pretty predictable; we know Pennywise is in the house the moment the door opens. But as the scene plays out, its dreamy, slow-build atmosphere gives us the same sort of fairy tale-turned-nightmare vibe that made the first film a record-breaking box office smash.
