Sindh Bar Council Announces Boycott Of Courts Tomorrow

KARACHI – The Sindh Bar Council has announced a boycott of the courts in response to alleged threats made against Provincial Law Minister Zia-ul-Hassan Lanjhar by a prisoner.

The Sindh Bar Council stated that a strike will be held on Saturday against the threats directed at the provincial law and interior minister, and lawyers across Sindh will boycott the courts.

The lawyers’ organization reported that Ismail Dahri, a prisoner, threatened to kill Provincial Minister Zia-ul-Hassan Lanjhar, prompting lawyers to stage a protest.

The Sindh Bar Council mentioned that, upon our appeal, lawyers will not appear in the City Court, Malir Court, and other courts on Saturday.
