LAHORE (Web Desk) – Prices of petroleum products are likely to rise from May 1, Geo TV reported on Wednesday.
If prices rise, petrol prices will likely to increase Rs4 per litre, high speed diesel (HSD) Rs3.50 per litre and light diesel oil (LDO) Rs2.56 per litre. The high-octane blended component (HOBC) is expected to rise by Rs4 per litre.
Kerosene prices are expected to up by Rs3.25 per litre. The reason behind the rise is increase of petroleum prices in the international market. However, the Ministry of Finance is the final authority to sanction the new prices of petroleum products.
