ISLAMABAD – The government has decided to appoint Foreign Secretary Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry as Ambassador of Pakistan to the United States.
According to the Foreign Office, he will take up his new office in Washington next month.
He is a career foreign service officer with over 36 years of bilateral and multilateral experience in the field of diplomacy.
Earlier, the government announced the appointment of Tehmina Janjua as foreign secretary who will be replacing incumbent Foreign Secretary Aizaz Ahmed Chaudhry.
