LAHORE – Veteran TV actor Farooq Zameer died after a protracted illness on Thursday. His funeral prayers will be held in Lahore on Saturday.
Pakistani artists and scholars expressed their regrets over the demise of the actor.
Zamree started his career from PTV in the 90s and shot to fame for his role in various television series, including Guriya, Surag-e-Zindagi and Shamali. He has also been working for private drama channels.
