JHELUM – At least 54 suspected terrorists have been arrested from Jhelum and Lodhran in the ongoing operation Radd-ul-Fasaad.
According to police and security forces, over 50 houses were searched in Lodhran and 40 individuals were arrested from the city. Similarly, 14 suspects were arrested from Jhelum on Thursday.
“Arms and ammunition were recovered from one suspect. The biometric verification of the arrested individuals is underway,” police sources further added.
Ten unidentified motorcycles were taken in police custody from Lodhran.
The arrested individuals will be charged under the Punjab Tenancy Act, the police said.
