Pakistan ready to play role for defusing Saudi Arabia-Iran tension: FO

ISLAMABAD – Foreign Office spokesperson Nafees Zakaria has said that Pakistan is ready to settle the dispute between Saudi Arabia and Iran.

While talking to a local news channel, he said that the Islamic Coalition Force was being set up to weed out terrorism and take stern actions against militant outfits.

He added that Term of References of Saudi-led military alliance will be chalked out through consultation of all parties.

The spokesperson termed the media discussions over the establishment of the force as mere speculations.

The spokesperson said Pakistan has great importance in the region and rendered supreme sacrifices in the war against terrorism.

He said the world leaders have also hailed Pakistan’s contributions and sacrifices against terrorism.
