Ali Zafar puts life at STAKE while shooting for upcoming film Teefa in Trouble

The rebirth of Pakistani cinema has pushed many actors to their limits so that they are able to reinvent themselves. While some do it out of necessity and to get into the routine of a new movie, some actors like Ali Zafar do it purely out of passion.

Singer turned actor Ali Zafar has been constantly pushing his boundaries to transform himself into the best version of the refined actor that he is and is going as much as he can for his upcoming debut film Teefa in trouble.

Ali shared his story on how it took him three to four months of rigorous training to transform himself physically:

I had mixed martial arts training with modern-day gym techniques and most importantly, diet and dedication and a change in lifestyle. But I feel mental health is way more important than physical and that comes through various mental exercises and meditation.

He added:

I sometimes feel that artists or stars as you may call them get stuck in the hyped version or image of their own self and eventually become a caricature of their own image.

Therefore, it is necessary to keep re-inventing yourself. During the process, you not only rediscover endless possibilities of your own mind and body but also give your audiences something new. For me, the process of learning is the key and that only happens when you break yourself and put yourself together, again and again.

Without a doubt, the actor has been training hard to bring the action charged film to life, and that too, in a never seen before kind of way.

Ahsan Rahim, the film’s director confessed:

It is a truly nerve-racking situation to know that your irreplaceable lead is about to risk his safety for a scene but that’s Ali’s dedication to his role and commitment to delivering a true action packed scene, as that is ultimately what the movie demands. I don’t think I know any other actor here willing to go to those lengths as most of the work is done by doubles. Of course, the retakes on set do become a cause for the occasional anxiety of actually watching him do those crazy stunts… again and again!

In the images above, Zafar can be seen crashing through an open window landing right onto a table and forcing it to break under the impact of his dive.

The actor has gone so far as changing his routine, diet, and workout to be able to deliver the multiple stunts throughout the movie.

With plans to release later this year in September, fans can’t wait to see their favorite star in an action-packed glory with daring exploits and some incredible fight scenes.
