Karachi Police kills two suspected robbers

KARACHI (Web Desk) - Crackdown against criminal elements in Karachi is in full swing and in a latest encounter two accused were killed while another was arrested in a separate incident on Monday.

According to details, a police patrolling party asked two motorcycle riders to stop in Hangora Goth area near New Sabzi Mandi. The riders refused and reportedly opened fire at the police. Police retaliated and consequently both were killed.

Later on, Police officials confirmed that weapons and a stolen motorcycle were recovered from the slain robbers. The identity of the deceased is still under wraps.

In another incident, police have nabbed an accused in injured state after an encounter in Mominabad area of Orangi Town. Police sources confirmed that the arrested person, Barkat, was wanted in a murder case.
