DAVOS (Staff Report) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif Thursday held meetings with Afghan president Ashraf Ghani and United States vice president Joe Biden at an event during the 46th annual meeting of World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
US secretary of the state John Kerry, federal finance minister Ishaq Dar and Prime Minister’s special assistant Tariq Fatemi were also present on the occasion.
The leaders exchanged views on different leading international issues and agreed that cooperation and diplomatic dialogue must be continued in any situation.
The trio also held trilateral meeting on the situation of Afghanistan and newly emerging challenges in the region.
The five-day meeting of World Economic Forum began on Wednesday in Switzerland’s city of Davos.
