NEW YORK – The largest coffeehouse brand Starbucks is under fire from a group of Islamophobics after the coffee giant underwent a slight change in their cup design.
Starbucks introduced a green cup design on Tuesday featuring a remarkable piece of artwork surrounded by green colour but to its dismay, the Islamophobic elements took aim at the design shift and ranted that Starbucks was promoting Islam.

The irrational allegation levelled at the Seattle-based company was merely based on the assumption that the green colour represented Islam and so the company was promoting the religin through that colour.
Numerous Twitterati in a rambling tone alleged the company for a mere green colour.

This is not the first time, the company has faced the illogical criticism, coffee giant’s all-red 2015 holiday cups led some consumers to assume the chain was part of the so-called “War on Christmas.” But the company said the all-red cups were about design only.
Some other views suggested that the design echoed the colours of the flag of the Arab league.
