Shaniera Akram alarms Karachiites not to visit 'hazardous' Clifton beach
KARACHI - Former Pakistani captain Wasim Akram’s wife Shaniera Akram has on Tuesday (yesterday) declared Karachi’s Clifton beach hazardous and in state of an emergency as there are kilometres of medical waste including hundreds of open needle syringes amongst other things, that has come in from the ocean.

Sindh Police responded to Shaniera Akram’s tweet and wrote, “Police have cordoned off the affected area of Clifton beach, section 144 has been imposed for the safety of visitors.”
