Yasra Rizvi s fresh poem on Khadija Siddiqi ignites fire in Pakistan

LAHORE – Yasra Rizvi is known for her poetry that can make you think, feel, love amongst various other emotions that it ignites within us. She can do wonders with her words and this time she has beautifully appealed to the Chief Justice of Pakistan, Mian Saqib Nisar, with a heartfelt poem written for the victim of horrendous attempted murder, Khadija Siddiqi.

Soon as she shared the video on her official Facebook account, social media users showed their support to the stab victim:

34 years old Yasra Rizvi actress and writer broke stereotypes as she married 24 year old Abdul Hadi despite of all the criticism she kept on with her good work and dedication. Manto actress is making rounds over the internet for her Urdu poetry. She has become an internet sensation as she actively keeps posting Urdu poetry reviving authentic Urdu literature.

Khadija Siddiqi, a law student, was attacked by her classmate in broad daylight. She was almost killed but survived the attack miraculously. Shah Hussain, the attacker, was released last week despited being sentenced to five years in prison.
