The Pakistani Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) has just issued a show cause notice to the channel, Urdu1 for violating the Electronic Media Code of Conduct 2015 as a result of airing Dangl on September 3rd. According to PEMRA, the movie included certain content and scenes not suitable for the audience.
The management of Urdu1 has been directed to surface a reply explaining its position within seven days of the issuance of the notice, on or before September 12th.
