Jaan nisar is the latest crime-thriller series to hit Pakistani television screens

Talk about major changes in Pakistani dramas and series!

Ever since the advent of Udaari, television script-writers have taken it upon themselves to write about the bold & taboo topics which have previously been shunned to hit the screens in every household.

The latest to jump onto the bandwagon is the crime-thriller series ‘Jaan’nisar’, which is based on bringing the issue of rule of law by revealing the true nexus of politics.

“Jaan’nisar is for every citizen of Pakistan to see what the police men across their country are doing for their safety and well-being. I think it’s an absolute honour to be a part of this project and I hope to do projects in the future which are as meaningful and creating awareness as this one,” claimed Zain Afzal, a popular film and drama artist.

Casting popular artists such as Nauman Ijaz, Sohail Sameer, Nayyar Ejaz and Zain Afzal, the drama will be one of it’s kind, as is already evident from the Facebook teasers.

The 13 episodes TV series will be making a gateway to revive people’s trust in state institutions, according to the director.

Jaan’nisar will be aired on ATV Pakistan soon.

Directed by the veteran Aamir Yousaf and penned by Amir Raza, this latest production from the banner of CRS will also be highlighting crimes against women including sexual harrassment, dowry, women trafficking and domestic violence.

It also portrays how an honest police officer can play an effective role in curbing crime in society.

We wish the team of Jaan’nisar the very best of luck for this project, and we can’t wait for it to hit TV screens!
