LAHORE – Aseefa Bhutto, the daughter of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto and former president Asif Ali Zardari, got one of her ankles fractured on Wednesday during her condolence visit to Jahangir Badr’s house in Lahore.
According to the sources, Aseefa, who was in Lahore for the condolence visit to Jahangir Badr’s house, has been admitted to hospital and will have her ankles scanned for further examination.
Doctors have recommended her complete bed rest.
The veteran politician passed away at the age of 72 in Lahore late Sunday night.
The former senator was rushed to a private hospital after he suffered a heart attack. Ali Badr, son of Jahangir Badr said his father was placed in the ICU, where the doctors made their best efforts to save his life but he could not recover and died late on Sunday night.
