ISLAMABAD (Online) – Unidentified armed robbers snatched truck loaded with wheat bags from a driver and conductor near Sangjani Toll plaza on Friday.
Lodging the complaint with Tarnol Police, truck driver Sajjad told the police that he was carrying 600 bags wheat in his truck to Peshawar.
As many as four armed persons intercepted him at some distance ahead of Sangjani Toll plaza. They tied him and conductor of the truck with ropes and took both of them to jungle. They snatched mobile phones, cash valuing Rs 45000 and truck loaded with wheat, he said.
Police have registered the case and started investigation.
