Hard Kaur says she is getting rape threats from BJP supporters

LAHORE – Twitter account of  the Indian rapper Hard Kaur was recently suspended after she posted a video in which Kaur is seen using abusive words for Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

The singer, along with Khalistan (a separate region for Sikhs in India) supporters, appeared in the two minute clip and also spoke in favour of the Khalistan movement.

In the video she can be seen saying  that the supporters of Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) and Rashtriya Swayamsevak, (RSS) had been been using extremely abusive language towards her.

She said that by abusing her, these people are only revealing the filth in their heads. “You are filthy people, extremely filthy,” she said.

“You all should be thankful to me as I introduced a progressive image of India in the world through my music. I am the first female hip-hop artist from India,” she said, adding that “Indian misogynistic men cannot tolerate me because I am more talented, successful, famous and rich than most of them”.

“How dare the Indian government stop the 2020 referendum and call Sikh liberation group a terrorist organisation when the whole parliament at this time is full of RSS terrorists,” she said.

“So guess what, I am going to Pakistan to attend the 550th anniversary of Kartarpur Sahib and I will campaign for 2020 referendum and Khalistan,” she concluded.
