Six Pak Army major-generals promoted to lieutenant-general

RAWALPINDI - Six Major Generals of Pak Army were promoted to the rank of Lieutenant General, said a press release issued by the military's media wing on Friday.

According to a communique issued by Inter-Services Public Relations, the promoted General Officers include Maj Gen Shaheen Mazhar, Maj Gen Nadeem Zaki Manj, Maj Gen Abdul Aziz, Maj Gen Asim Munir, Maj Gen Adnan, and Maj Gen Waseem Ashraf.

Army Promotion Board headed by Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa approved the promotion of major generals.

Recently, major reshuffle took place in the army, under which Lieutenant General Nadeem Raza was appointed as the Chief of General Staff. General Raza replaced Lieutenant General Bilal Akbar who was appointed as Commander 10 Corps (Rawalpindi).
