ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – The flight operation Pakistan International Airport was Sunday partially resumed when at least two PIA planes reached Jeddah to bring back 800 Umra pilgrims stranded there.
In a statement this morning, the PIA spokesman regretted inconvenience caused to all valued passengers due to illegal strike.
According to Civil Aviation sources, PIA staffers are coming back to their duties. They said that 400 Umra pilgrims will be brought back through Saudi Airlines.
Meanwhile media reports suggest that sit-ins of PIA workers are still underway at different airports country-wide.
