LAHORE -Early on Saturday, the Airport Security Force (ASF) along with the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) and PIA security staff has foiled the attempted smuggling of heroin while inspecting an air craft at the Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore.
The heroin was kept in the aircraft’s washroom. The craft had returned from Muscat a few hours before the recovery was made.
The officials have started an investigation into the incident. The reported worth of the recovered drugs runs up in the millions.
