Court expresses displeasure over non appearance of Khawaja Asif during hearing in 'Tractor trolley' case

ISLAMABAD - The hearing of case on use of indecent remarks of “tractor trolley" by Khawaja Asif against PTI MNA Shireen Mazari has been adjourned till December 19.

Single bench of Islamabad High Court (IHC) led by Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui took up the case for hearing on Thursday.

During hearing PTI leader Shireen Mazari appeared inthe court but Khawaja Asif remained absent.

The court expressed annoyance over his absence remarking why Khawaja Asif has not appeared before it.

The counsel for Khawaja Asif told the court that defence minister could not appear in the court being busy in a meeting.

The court adjourned the hearing of case till December 19.-Online
